We’re excited! This site was designed to recognize former Panthers who have excelled once they have left the hallowed halls of good ol’ SHDHS.
The original concept was limited to successful athletes, but once word got out, the concept was expanded to include other categories like the arts, science, engineering, business, broadcasting, education, politics and charity work. Once we announced that we were considering doing this, we received information about Panther alumni whose diverse accomplishments include having been members of national sports teams or music ensembles, travelled to Antarctica on scientific expeditions, headed up major engineering projects, gotten involved in relief efforts all over the world, and won world championships in dance. The list is truly incredible!
We are approaching this site as a work in progress, expanding and updating it into both the past, and the future, as information is given to us and this is where you come in. If you are aware of any former student of South Huron DHS who deserves to be recognized on our site, then please drop us a line at russ.watson @sympatico.ca and we will try to include them as soon as we get enough information. All potential inductees will be contacted to provide and/or verify site content. We anticipate a large volume of information to start with, and will be updating the site constantly. So drop us a line with your suggestions and any pertinent information you can give us. We will follow it up as soon as we can. Thanks in advance for helping us out and enjoy the site so far. GO PANTHERS!!

Hi, I think KristyLee Varley should be included in your Panther Heritage Project. KristyLee recently traveled to Southern Sudan and participated as an official observer for the United Nation in the Southern Sudan separation referendum. KristyLee has also participated in other project for children of the Southern Sudan.
